So, you’ve stumbled upon this page, maybe searching for answers, maybe chasing change, or simply curious about someone else’s journey. You want to know how to achieve your goals, how to become more effective, how to grow into someone different from your old self. And now you’re wondering: who am I, and what are my qualifications?

The simple answer is: I don’t have any. No formal titles or outrageous accomplishments. I’m not an expert or a pro. I haven’t made any millions, and I haven’t yet built a career through writing.

What I am is a regular human being. Just like you, I’m trying to better myself day by day. I am a son, an employee, a taxpayer. An immigrant of Canada. I’ve failed more times than I can count, but I’ve also accomplished things I once thought impossible. I’ve made a lot of mistakes, but also learned from them.

I have no claims to perfection. I’ve failed before, and I will fail again. But failure has never stopped me. It has shaped me. Progress has come slowly, built from small victories, from lessons learned, and from the joy of overcoming challenges that once felt out of reach.

That’s why I write. In The Nightshift Journal and beyond, I share the stories and approaches that helped me turn my life around. Not because I hold the answers, but because I know I’m not alone. Setbacks are universal. Struggle is human. And if my words can resonate with someone else facing the same difficulties, then sharing them feels like a duty.

I believe helping others is part of helping ourselves. It is one of humanity’s responsibilities, to shape not only our own lives, but the world we live in.
